Devlog #7 Final 09/09/2024 - 12/10/2024


Hello and welcome back for the final time ! Yes you heard right this will be the last devlog for Tales of Asraco ! Version 0.0.1 of the game is done ! I will focus on smaller things till launch such as continuing to fix bugs and polishing the game further. After this devlog is published updates and fixes will be mentioned inside the Patch Notes. Back when I started working on Tales of Asraco in early 2024 I had a small idea. This small idea over the past months turned into the game that is supposed to be the flagship of DarkSwitchStudios. I will continuously work on updates to improve the game and add more and more content. Alongside Tales of Asraco I am already working out the concept for a new much smaller and more casual game. More updates on that will follow as soon as Tales of Asraco enters early access. I am so proud of what I was able to create in a relatively short amount of time considering the fact I have a part time job and the fact I enrolled in university last year. Making games has always been a huge passion of mine. Tales of Asraco is the first of many tries that actually made it into a real game. So without further ado I present the last devlog for Tales of Asraco.

Variables

  • Set the beginning Variables for players such as x amount of Water, Food and Medical items

Cave

  • Fixed a bug where Weaponstation would trigger on a different location on smaller screen size

  • Added sound indicator for low hp
  • Fixed a bug where sound indicator for low hp would continue to play even after player heald

05/10/2024 Play test #013 resulted in the following fixes or additions

  • Fixed a bug with death screen of Scepters
  • Fixed wrong size of Scepter death screen
  • Fixed a bug where back button was missing while looting Scepter
  • Increased the chance of Screwdriver spawning
