Hello once again to the fourth Devlog where I let you guys take a look at what I've been working on. This update mostly contains play tests as all the functions for the release are now implemented.

22/03/20224

Trader 

  • Bandage is now a buyable item

In run

  • Added placeholder background for testing purpose
  • Finished text layout

23/03/2024

In run

  • Metal Scrap item can now be found in run
  • Fixed a bug with elseif statement inside garage passage

23/03/2024 Play test #003 resulted in the following fixes or additions

Blender work 

  • Continued working on the map Construction Site

24/03/2024 Play test #004 resulted in the following fixes or additions

In run 

  • Changed the audio file for bandage use to be shorter
  • Fixed a bug where you already searched here was displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug where Go outside was displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug where multiple loot spots were not working
  • Fixed a bug where you already searched here was displayed incorrectly
  • Added Gold sharps item to be found in run
  • Made boss “Alken” spawn less frequent
  • Fixed a bug where 0 Health and or 0 Hydration would not lead to players death after some time
  • Made RC Flash drive spawn less frequent

 

25/03/2024 Play test #005 resulted in the following fixes or additions

Inventory

  • Fixed a bug that would display “NaN” on a item counter
  • Added possibility to unequip weapons
  • Fixed a bug that would lead to players being unable to equip weapons after run
  • Fixed a bug that would not add 9x19 mm ammunition to inventory after buying it
  • Fixed a bug where you already looted here was displayed incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug where player was able to craft infinite gold ingots

27/03/2024 Play test #006 resulted in the following fixes or additions

In run

  • Consumable items such as Food and drinks now spawn more frequent
  • Reduced the possibility of lootspots being empty
  • Fixed a bug where Bandages would heal different amounts of health based on where the player uses it 
  • Enemies now drop ammunition based on their equipped weapon

28/03/2024 Play test #007 resulted in the following fixes or additions

In run

  • Fixed a bug where player would continue to lose health after killing an enemy 
  • Weapons that are found on dead enemies are now automatically equipped in run
  • Fixed a bug where player would keep his weapon after dying
  • Balancing changes to Water item
  • Balancing changes to Sparkling water item
  • Fixed a bug with equipping and unequipping weapons
  • Fixed a wrong display of item counter
  • Fixed a bug where buying bandages would not work

29/03/2024 Play test #008 resulted in the following fixes or additions

Cave

  • Fixed a bug where progression would not update accordingly
